Wireless Computer Speakers
Welcome to our site. Here you will find
information on computer speakers and
accessories.
With the
advancement of technology electronic devices are becoming
modest, finer by shedding off extra parts as is seen in
the wireless computer speakers. These devices were
manufactured implementing the wireless technology that
uses infrared or electromagnetic signals to control the
speakers.
You can enjoy the
music from your living, kitchen, bedroom or bathroom
whilst the computer operating from your study when you
install wireless computer speakers. The only condition is
that you have place the stereos within 150 ft to 300ft
distance from the transmitter as specified in the manual.
The speakers get power supply from an AC current source
or battery. The Lithium ion batteries are generally used
and are easily rechargeable. Some models have in-built
rechargeable battery but they are more expensive (e.g.
SRS RF90RK of Sony); outdoor speakers have this facility.
You will get 3-4 hours back-up from these speakers
(placed within 100ft to 100mt distance range) if they are
fully charged for 20-24
hours.
The wireless
speaker technology that is used in these devices connects
the speakers with the computer and transmits signals by
radio/electromagnetic waves or infrared ray. The devices
based on radio waves are more popular as they can
penetrate through walls and other hard barriers within
150-300ft range. On the other hand, infrared waves cannot
penetrate such barriers though can travel further and
therefore they are used in rear speakers of a home
theatre to get the best sound effects. The speakers work
on 900MHz frequency range and therefore will interfere
with other electromagnetic devices like the cell phones,
cordless phones, radio, baby monitor etc. if kept within
that area.
Wireless computer
speakers generally come in 3 basic models, the 2.1
system, the 5.1 and the 7.1 system. The first one is a
stereo only perfect for personal use and in gaming. The
5.1 system is also called the surround sound system and
come with a remote control. You will get the highest
power output from the 7.1 system and it gives a larger
surround effect. The stereos are connected only with the
computer and to connect them with other devices like the
MP3 or your cell phone you should have Bluetooth
technology. Your computer should be compatible with
speaker or you have to set up a wireless network
connection between them.
The wireless computer speakers are
becoming more popular these days as they are offering
multiple facilities e.g. they can be connected with any
audio device, they are portable, can be kept anywhere and
have high ranges, their digital control produces better
clarity and richness of sound, absence of cables keep the
rooms tidy etc. Many manufacturers guarantee durability and
weather proof feature of these devices. However, the radio
wave connection is interrupted during natural calamities if
speakers are kept at higher ranges.
